Éva Mayer and Áron Zsolt Majoros: Cradles

Eva Mayer in her PhD masterpiece, entitled „CRADLES“ works with the idea of infertility and the traumatizing situation that it is linked to it. Which will be shown for the first time in a non-sacral space, in the Limes Gallery in Komárom. It was important for her, that not only symbolically, but actually work with her husband as a creative duo. With her project she would like to raise awareness about women who suffer from endometriosis, and about the problem occurring with the condition. These women not only suffer from this chronic illness, but they are commonly striped from the opportunity of becoming a mother. This illness generally leads to infertility, according to the statistics, it is 50% of the cases. (Half of the female population is affected by endometriosis, yet the are not aware of it.)
